Telemedicine: Important Message for Enrollees
During the COVID-19 emergency, WSHIP is covering telemedicine services (virtual visits by phone, email or online video chat) with no cost-share to enrollees. These services can help maintain social distancing and minimize the spread of infection. Click Here for more information.

Board Position Opening
There are two openings on the WSHIP Board for employer representatives (small employer and large employer). These are Governor-appointed positions. Please contact Ambar Algera, Boards & Commissions Coordinator at the Governor’s office at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
WSHIP’s Non-Medicare Plans Are Closed to New Enrollment
Effective January 1, 2014, WSHIP’s non-Medicare plans are only available to individuals enrolled in WSHIP prior to December 31, 2013 and individuals residing in a county where an individual plan is not offered. Currently, individual coverage is offered in all counties.
WSHIP’s Medicare-eligible Plan is Open to New Enrollment
There are no changes to eligibility requirements for WSHIP’s Medicare-eligible plan. This program remains open to new enrollment. Click Here for more information. NOTE: For coverage beginning January 1, 2020, WSHIP will be offering a new Medicare-eligible plan called the Medical Supplement Plan and its Basic Plan will be closed to new enrollment.
