WSHIP Board Member Appointed as Consumer Representative:
WSHIP is pleased to announce that effective June 1, 2021, Governor Inslee has appointed Michael Dunlop, Director of Healthcare Access, Evergreen Health Insurance Program, to the WSHIP Board representing consumers for a 3-year term. Mr. Dunlop replaces Board Member Alison Mondi whose term ended on May 31, 2021.

2021 Member Plan Election Results:
Sarah Kwiatkowski has been elected to Board of Directors Position 2 to serve a 3-year term ending May 31, 2024.
Kristen Walter Wright has been elected to Board of Directors Position 10 to serve a 3-year term ending May 31, 2024.

Board Position Opening
There are two openings on the WSHIP Board for employer representatives (small employer and large employer). These are Governor-appointed positions. Please contact Ambar Algera, Boards & Commissions Coordinator at the Governor’s office at email@example.com for more information.
WSHIP’s Non-Medicare Plans Are Closed to New Enrollment
Effective January 1, 2014, WSHIP’s non-Medicare plans are only available to individuals enrolled in WSHIP prior to December 31, 2013 and individuals residing in a county where an individual plan is not offered. Currently, individual coverage is offered in all counties.
WSHIP’s Medicare-eligible Plan is Open to New Enrollment
There are no changes to eligibility requirements for WSHIP’s Medicare-eligible plan. This program remains open to new enrollment. Click Here for more information. NOTE: For coverage beginning January 1, 2020, WSHIP will be offering a new Medicare-eligible plan called the Medical Supplement Plan and its Basic Plan will be closed to new enrollment.
